Cutimed Sorbact Pad binds bacteria and fungi to the dressing itself using DACC technology, so microorganisms are physically removed at each change rather than killed in the wound. The absorbent core holds exudate.

• Box of 40 sterile pads, 7cm x 9cm
• Sorbact DACC-coated contact layer binds bacteria, fungi and endotoxins
• Effective against most common resistant pathogens
• For clean, contaminated, colonised or infected moderate to high exuding superficial wounds — surgical and traumatic wounds, pressure ulcers, diabetic foot ulcers, leg ulcers
• Overlap the wound margins by at least 2cm; do not cut the dressing
• Apply green contact layer directly to the whole wound surface and fixate with bandage or tape
• May be left in place for up to 7 days where the clinical condition allows
• Moisten before removal if the dressing has adhered
